Describes the sidewall appearance. Examples: BSW= Black Side Wall, WSW = White Side Wall OWL = Outlined White Letters.
The load index (LI) is a 2 or 3 digit number that corrolates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximim load of 1,201 lbs. In the case of our example the 87 identifies the tires ability to carry a maximum of 1,201 lbs. So 4 tires will carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimim Load Index. It is not recommended to install tires with a lower Load Index. By doing so, this could cause your tires to be overloaded thus potentially causing a blowout.
Speed Ratings (SR) are based on laboratory tests and indicates the maximum speed the tire can achieve. These tests are based on limited time trials. Higher speed rating tires typically will yield better handling capabilities, but may often result in lower mileage. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum Speed Rating. It is not recommended to install a tire with a lower speed rating as it could affect the handling of your vehicle. It is important to note that speed ratings only apply to tires that have not been damaged, altered, under-inflated or overloaded. Additionally, most tire manufacturers maintain that a tire that has been cut or punctured no longer retains the tire manufacturer's original speed rating, even after being repaired because the tire manufacturer can't control the quality of the repair.
|Load Range/Ply Rating||Not Available||
Ply Rating is related to the max load capacity. This value can be defined with a letter or number. The higher the number/letter, the higher the load capacity.
To help consumers evaluate their tires, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) created the Uniform Tire Quality Grading System (UTQG). The UTQG rates tires are rated on their tread-wear, traction performance, and temperature resistance. The grade for each of these can be found on the sidewall of your tire (except for winter tires and certain light truck tires). Click here for more information.
|Max Single Load(lbs)||1521||The maximum load this tire will support. Remember to multiply this number by the number of tires installed on your vehicle to get the maximum carrying capacity. This number is directly related to the Load Index.|
|Max Single Air Pressure(PSI)||44||The maximum air pressure this tire will support. This does not represent the amount of air pressure your tires should have at all times. Consult with your owner's manual to determine the best air pressure you should use for your vehicle.|
|Tread Depth||12.0||The amount of tread on the tire. Once the tire is worn to 2/32nds, it is considered fully used and should be replaced at that time. Most tires will have tire indicators in the grooves of the tire to help you determine when the tires are worn down to 2/32nds.|
Nondirectional - most common, same tread pattern on inside & outside of the tire. Can be rotated to all four corners of vehicle. Asymmetrical - tread pattern is different on the inside to the outside of the tire, and must be mounted properly. Can be rotated to all four corners of the vehicle. Directional tires - roll in only one direction, must be mounted properly. Once mounted they must remain on the same side of the vehicle, and only be rotated front to rear.
|Rim Width Range||5.5-7.5||The approved wheel rim width range this tire will support.|
|Measured Rim Width||6.0||The recommended wheel width as recommended by the tire manufacturer to get the best wear us performance for this tire.|
|Section Width||8.23||The measurement from sidewall to sidewall.|
|Tread Width||6.0||The measurement from one side of the tread to the other side of the tread.|
|Overall Diameter||26.5||The height of the tire when fully inflated.|
|Manufacturer Part Number||013737||Manufacturer part number (sku)|

Great winter tires
Very good traction in snow and off road. No more getting stuck anywhere.
Great tires for a great price
Excellent Snow and ice , Excellent gripping
Excellent Price, and Handling, my occurred snow tire and past snow tires.
Industry Standard for a Reason
Great tires. Grip in snow and ice is second to none. Stopping even on the snowiest of days is half of that with all seasons. Still can't believe there are people in cool climates who forgo winter tires. Great purchase and makes winter driving safer!
Great tires- fantastic price
I was considering buying 2 sets of tires but I did not believe the price. Sure enough the low, low price was real! You can't beat the value!
Best darn Snow and Ice tire in the World
These tires grip in snow and ice. Not the first time we’ve bought them. I have them on every cat in our family every winter. Many people don’t understand the need for them and just don’t want to spend the money. Not expensive and worth every penny.
Best snow tires.
Best snow tires ever. I'll never use anything else.
Got me through a very tough winter in MN
Had all season tires on my Toyota van and I was concerned I would soon be in an accident if I didn’t get winter tires. I had Blizzak tires years ago and thought I would try them again. HUGE difference and life saver. My son had Michelin winter tires on his family van and ending up getting to of those and put on Blizzak tires, daughter did the same thing. Have decades of MN winter driving behind me, but this winter was a doozy even if you’re a seasoned winter driver, so glad I had Blizzak. Told many of my patients about how awesome they are!!
Big improvement overall compared to my all-season Michelin's....quieter, softer, much better grip accelerating, braking and cornering in snow and ice.
Great winter tire!
Initial delivery received 3 correct size tires and one smaller tire. Upon contact with vendor, got an immediate response and it was corrected within 2 days. Will do business again for the prompt service.
Best studless tires for winter
These tires grip so good in ice and snowy conditions. Have them on my 2015 Mazda 6 the traction is awesome even on a front wheel drive car.
These tires are great
These tires grip road well in winter weather
This is the second set of Blizzak 80 tires I have purchased. These tires grip well in winter weather and also ride smooth in regular driving. I have used the tires year round on vehicle and they perform well, but will not get the mileage that all season tires last. The only draw back is slight road noise from tires during driving. Giga had the best price on tires and they were only 1 year old from manufacturing date when received(be careful on new tires that are couple years old when bought, rubber still drys out in storage and will effect how long they will last). This was my first purchase from Giga and was happy with price and delivery.
Worked very well in my first snow.
Just bought these tires so very little experience. I live on a pretty steep dirt road. Tires went right up in 4" of snow. Only thought is they might be even more aggressive in the tread.
Great tires for my 16 Wrx
Not a bad of a price for these great tires.
Amazing Tires for Canadian Winters
Great price and the $50 Visa from Bridgestone as added bonus!!
Great winter tired
These tires are great in the winter weather and very good price.
These tires are excellent excellent price excellent quality they are awesome snow when ice never had a problem with them excellent traction the compound stay soft enough when it’s below zero I’ve had these tires before change to another brand and came back to these because they are superb they were good excellent traction.
I think theses are best non studded snows available
These tires are working great
I have a Prius C and we use these all-weather tires for winter the traction is unbelievable you would think I had an all wheel drive very happy while worth the value
The best winter tires ever.
Great tires for a great price.
Great Snow Tires
This is the second set of Blizzak tires I've bought for my 2014 Mazda 6. I've been very happy with both. Great snow traction and good handling on dry roads. They wear quickly when the weather gets warm, but then they are snow tires after all. So, just change them out in the Spring.
Love these tires in the snow. Theres nothing better out there for the price and quality.
These tires are making my life easy in the snow
Awesome tires at an awesome price. Going up and down the mountain canuomwhere I live is made easy with these. I will be buying them again
Great traction. Low noise, couldn't ask for a better winter tire for our Acura
Great for winter
Love The tires definitely will purchase more next winter and try something new for the summer
Blizzaks grip the road-i feel so safe
We not only live in central Vermont, we live at the end of a 1000 ft long curvy and inclined gravel driveway. in the winter parts of it are ice from December through March. I liked my Michelin winter tires but the past 2 winters had to be pulled out of a snowbank when my civic sedan 2009 slid. I was going to try studded winter tires but my husband convinced me to believe Bridgestone when they say that new materials they use in their Blizzaks grip the ice about as well as studs. After this icy winter i am a believer.. I love these tires. Even with 2 wheel drive i feel confident that I'll make it up the driveway.
Best Snow Tires on Market for Half Anywhere Else
The headline says it all. The Blizzaks are the best Snow tire one can buy (yes, better than the Michelin X-Ice, which I had on a Subaru), and it cost half as much as Mavis charged, WITHOUT installation. I simply paid the $80 for my local dealership to mount them (that's a standard price for such service) and saved almost $300. The customer service at Gigae is great and the tires arrived in two days. This is the way to go!
Snow and ice traction with these tires has been very good.
All-Seasons had my Avalon all over the place last winter. 2 storms this winter so far and very little slippage. Highly recommended!
