The load index (LI) is a 2 or 3 digit number that corrolates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximim load of 1,201 lbs. In the case of our example the 87 identifies the tires ability to carry a maximum of 1,201 lbs. So 4 tires will carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimim Load Index. It is not recommended to install tires with a lower Load Index. By doing so, this could cause your tires to be overloaded thus potentially causing a blowout.

| Speed Rating | T |
Speed Ratings (SR) are based on laboratory tests and indicates the maximum speed the tire can achieve. These tests are based on limited time trials. Higher speed rating tires typically will yield better handling capabilities, but may often result in lower mileage. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum Speed Rating. It is not recommended to install a tire with a lower speed rating as it could affect the handling of your vehicle. It is important to note that speed ratings only apply to tires that have not been damaged, altered, under-inflated or overloaded. Additionally, most tire manufacturers maintain that a tire that has been cut or punctured no longer retains the tire manufacturer's original speed rating, even after being repaired because the tire manufacturer can't control the quality of the repair.

The UTQG rates tires are rated on their tread-wear, traction performance, and temperature resistance. Ride great. Look great. Narrower than expected
Everything is good except these tires are noticeably narrower than the BFG TA's they replaced even though they are the exact same 235/50R15 size. I confirmed this by checking the actual width dimensions of both tires and indeed the BFG was wider. If I replace these in the future I'll go 245/60R15 as I preferred the look of the extra width.

I purchased the same tires twice before from my local tire dealer. This time I bought on eBay from Tires-Easy.com and saved around $300 ! I ordered on Thursday evening, the tires were sitting on my porch Tuesday afternoon a full week before the estimated delivery date. Les Schwab wanted $50 each to mount & balance because I didn't purchase from them, so I went to Pep Boys and had them mounted and balanced for $60...($15 ea.) a real no brainer, these guys are great. Very Nice Tire For My Use - No Issues.
Needed a raised white letter in 70-series (as retro for 1973 Challenger). Did not want (BFG) T/A's so concentrated on the Coopers. Good specs., good quality, good handling and overall performance. Drove only 500 miles over 3 months but no problems or regrets. Also, a good price and the 215's fit well on OEM 5.5" rallye wheels. Thank-you, Tires-Easy.

I purchased these because some members of our c-body website recommended them. My tires were 10 years old and completely worn out. It's nice to have the rear of the car at correct height, but not hissing cat tail-in-the-air height. I would recommend them.

The Cobras
These tires are perfect for a sunny day. I use them on my daily driver s10 v8 white letters out of course. They can handle the 400hp im pushing at the wheels. And when im cruising slow and low with my boy they are as quiet as a hybrid zero to little road noise. so if you are on the fence go ahead try the yokos or the mich but you wont be happy until you put a set of cobras on your ride. They lasted me 8 seasons and let me tell you i put them to the test. My only complaint is they slide around too much when it first starts to rain but hey ive got no weight in the rear of my s10 so thats not all the tires fault. Ill never put anything else on my s10 and u can take that to the bank!

Lets start with Coopers' reputation, been around the block, a few times, and they always makes it back. Check out any ancient Hot Rod mag. These tires look great, nice tread pattern with that old school look, not to mention a higher speed rating than the BF Goodrich version. In all, I'm in awe. They look real pretty on my stock 72 Buick custom.

These are great tires all around. I purchased them for my 97 Ford Ranger for a more "aggressive" look and for the price you can't beat these. These tires are quiet, comfortable, and grip very well. Very pleased with these and I will continue to use/ buy them for my truck. I hear many people complain about Cooper brand tires being "loud" or not wearing evenly, however if you take care of the tires (Maintaining tire pressure is a virtue) and your vehicle is in proper condition these tires will not disappoint.

bought one and it only had maybe 300 if that miles on it and got a bobble in the side wall and started to come away from the bead bought it on line and no body would take it back and had to buy another one
