The load index (LI) is a 2 or 3 digit number that corrolates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximim load of 1,201 lbs. In the case of our example the 87 identifies the tires ability to carry a maximum of 1,201 lbs. So 4 tires will carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimim Load Index. It is not recommended to install tires with a lower Load Index. By doing so, this could cause your tires to be overloaded thus potentially causing a blowout.

| Speed Rating | W |
Speed Ratings (SR) are based on laboratory tests and indicates the maximum speed the tire can achieve. These tests are based on limited time trials. Higher speed rating tires typically will yield better handling capabilities, but may often result in lower mileage. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum Speed Rating. It is not recommended to install a tire with a lower speed rating as it could affect the handling of your vehicle. It is important to note that speed ratings only apply to tires that have not been damaged, altered, under-inflated or overloaded. Additionally, most tire manufacturers maintain that a tire that has been cut or punctured no longer retains the tire manufacturer's original speed rating, even after being repaired because the tire manufacturer can't control the quality of the repair.

I was hesitant at first to get these, I thought they would be complete crap due to the price. Now after driving around with them for several months I have to say I'm so glad I bought them. The normal tires I buy are 4 times the cost of these tires and they dont preform any better than these... Don't let the low price scare you away... these tires not only look great their performance rocks. Not to mention the customer service is top notch! I picked up a nail in the sidewall and couldn't repair the tire boy I had the road hazard warranty... I filed a claim and had a new tire back on my car super quick! They don’t grip very good, they go bald pretty fast, but these are because I drive my car to have fun. I’d rather have fun and burn my tires then spend $200 a tire on expensive tires and not burn them. They do pretty good for how cheap they are! I’ve gone through 9 of these tires, yes 9. 8+nail in one. As long as I have this tires size I will be buying these tires.

I am on my second set now because they are such fantastic tires! First set lasted 25,000 miles of aggressive driving. I have used Pirelli and continental in the past and paid double what Achilles cost and was not nearly as happy with wet and dry handling as I am will the ATR Sport 2.

I bought these tires for the price and I'm glad I did. Tires arrived within two days and had them mounted and balanced professionally on my 2002 lincoln ls. I did not get the road noise as some reported. The tires handle well but the side walls are a little soft but a few extra psi will help cure that. Had no problems with traction on wet roads. Overall I would rate this tire a 8.5 for price, fast delivery and handling. I would definitely buy these tires again.

I was surprised how quiet and smooth these tires are. I have a 2016 A8L and keeping the ride quiet and smooth was very important to me. Since I upgraded the wheels to 21", I was concerned I would sacrifice ride quality. I think that these tires in 21" are smoother and quieter and the 20" stock tires I replaced. I have had them on for about 5000 miles and I am very happy. The tread wear is still almost 100%. They have great wet and dry traction, but they are not great in the snow. Overall, I feel that you are getting a great tire for the price. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking to upgrade your wheels, but not wanting to spend more on tires than you did on the wheels.

Recently roadtripped from Jacksonville, NC to the Tail of the Dragon. Tires did great along the way and even after the long trip and a long cooldown, they gripped so well on the road! I was pushing my 350z hard on the Tail of the Dragon, but never lost grip. Amazing tires!

These tires are well balanced, evenly wearing and have made a headache into a no-brainer... I use them for my BMW 550i M-Sport, and they work great. I used to replace the originals (Michelin Pilot Series Run Flats), at around $1,350 a set and after two or three times of that, anyone starts looking for a better deal. Well, the only thing these Achilles tires don't have is the Run Flat element, which I have never needed. The car has tire pressure monitors, so a small can of fix-a-flat and you're off. I will never return to Michelins, not that they are bad tires, just way way way overpriced. I'm an Achilles man from here on out...

Bought these as my summer tire set for the daily driven VW CC. Quiet and smooth on the interstate. Also driven in plenty of rain on the interstate without any hydroplaning. I would recommended as a daily. I can’t comment on how they do in the snow because I haven’t and won’t drive these in the snow since they are on my summer set of wheels and I have a dedicated snow set.

A piece of metal about 7” X 3” X 1/4” punctured the tire. I wax driving down hill on the freeway going about 70 mph. I heard a loud clicking like something had attached to the tire.....it was still inflated, leaking air, but I safely got ofc the freeway and drove about a mile on the city streets to an auto store.

I can’t believe how good these tires are! I read a bunch of reviews that were all over the place but figured for the price let me try them out. I am definitely glad I did. I live in Florida and these tires are great in the rain. I don't drive too fast but I never feel scared when driving around sharp turns like some exits on and off of highways. I have no idea how they would do in racing but if you're looking for good cheap tires to ride in the summer time then these are great. I don't know how they would do in cold weather but they are not made for that anyway. I would buy these tires again.

So I love Achilles sport ones and twos! Dry, rain, snow, drifting, or front grip type of tire. It's does it all, ideal for all weather tire and a sports tire, but honestly I really have driven on them in the snow and on the track. It's a very predictable tire as far as you know where it's grip will give out, as compared to most tires your holding on and hoping for the best. I'd have to rate this tire 10 out of 10 and best bang for your buck!

Had them on a few months now. Nice looking style tire. Some higher road noice, especially when you turn but it's acceptable. These are sporty tires on my Honda Accord so I didn't expect them to be quiet and ride smooth. As long as these tires last many years, I'll be happy. Only paid about $350 then another $100 for mounting, balance and paid for alignment. Good price for all 4 tires.

I originally was running them with regular air and it was a great ride, I switch to nitrogen and it became an AWESOME ride. For a very low price I bought four of these. My big old Crown Victoria patrol car is a challenge for any tire, because its powerful, heavy and sometimes driven very hard. The turn-in response is instantaneous, all all steering input response is quick and crisp. On hard braking they comply without noise or lockup and are very grippy; same with cornering. Quiet tire. Eerily quiet. Great value for the money.

Really Great performing tire in both rain and hot weather haven't tried them out in cold yet. I have a 2004 mint condition Lincoln ls v8 and it will haul ass for the age and type of car it is and we live almost in the Smokey mountains of ga and they sure due handle around those curves. Shipping sucks though and there not willing to give a refund on anything even know they took 5 days longer then they should of to be delivered.

These tires are very affordable and the traction is unbelievable. I put these on my 06 crossfire which has larger rear tires (larger then-the front). They are great in the rain and handle well in all conditions. This car normally goes through tires fast but these have been holding up fine, The tread has not worn much at all and after driving about 5000 miles on these in Houstons heat they are holding up great.

Probably 8 sets of tires on my 2005 mazda 6 with 300000 miles. These are remarkably quiet. My favorites before these were goodyear eagle gts. Can't speak for longevity yet, but they seem responsive and grippy. If I get 35 thousand out of them im happy. We have not had much rain in socal so take my review with a grain of salt

They have excellent grip on dry pavement. In the wet, they can be a little slippery like any tire really. (not snow tested yet). I get great gas mileage with them. My only complaint would be that they are a little bit noisey. I can just barely notice a noise difference between these tires and my old ones. It doesn't really bother me at all really on account of how loud my custom exhaust is. If you're looking for some good quality daily driver sport tires, at the lowest price around, I'd recommend these Achilles ATR Sport 2 tires. PS. The star rating system looks messed up on my computer and I couldn't tell what I was hitting. I'm rating these tires 5/5.

For the price, these are amazing tires. I purchased them for my wife's Jaguar and the ride is incredible. They are not noisy at all. Probably the most surprising thing to me is the fact that when I had them mounted, the wheels needed no weights and balanced perfectly. Not a bad tire for the price
Aside from feeling mushy they seen to be good tires. They grip well in the corners even at ludicrous speed on dry asphalt and don't hydroplane through the puddles and they're not half bad on dirt/gravel as the stop well. I can't speak snow driving yet or for forward traction because i haven't just straight dumped the clutch but they haven't slipped under normal to lightly aggressive driving.

First time using this tire brand. Handles great in the rain, no signs of slip. In the dry above average grip. The average temperature is slowly rising as spring sets in, so I look forward to the grip to increase. I don't feel any tire squirm when hard cornering, which is important to building driver confidence. Road noise is average for a low profile tire of this size. VERY stable at 140mph with no meandering, with positive directional control. I give them 5 stars These tires are installed on a 05 BMW M3 with Bilstein PSS10 suspension.

I've had these on my Audi in the past and just put them on the rear of my 428i, and they are great. I'm not going over 120mph with these, or racing the canyon, and I have AAA, so I don't need run-flats, nor will I ever get them again. I have tossed 3 run-flat tires after driving home on them (< 30 miles) and not worth it. Hey everyone, learn how to change a tire! These are quiet, they grip when they have to, and they're cost-effective. I just hope they don't jack up the price if too many people praise them...

I've been riding my car now for the pass 4 months and so far I'm very satisfied, at first they felt slippery the first week or so but after that, nice grip dry and they run well in wet and break so far no problems at all. Before installing my tires i did an alignment and balance the tires. Overall great tires and would buy them again.

I was using these tires as burners for drifting. With new tires, the first 2 or 3 runs were great. Plenty of traction. Even a smaller size tire from what I'm used too. But after the 2 or 3 runs the tire didn't wear, it peeled. I'm guessing they would be a pretty good summer track tire but not so much for burners. I think they don't hold up well to excessive heat. I could be wrong though. 1* of camber and .25* of toe in at 300whp. I was not nice to these tires at all.

I never tried these tires and I am glad I did. They were way cheaper than the name brand and ride just as nice. They seem to be a little softer than what I had before which makes a better ride. The bumps are less jarring and the car seems to perform better. I used them on a turbo sonata and they will hold the road and not squeal when taking off. I have had issues with another name brand that would loose traction on take off from a stop light. Yeah the wife knows how to drive. The tires are a little beefy on the side walls and the tread comes over the side a little bit but they look good and shine up nice with some tire cleaner. The process was super easy, the tires came in before the due date. No packing just 2 tires banded together. Took them to the tire shop and had them put on, even the tire guys liked the tread pattern and tires. One thing, they are directional which is clearly marked on the side wall. We rotate our tires and get a line up constantly so make sure its done correctly. I will be getting another set for my other car when its time.

The size on my CTS-V tended to only be supported by pricey tires that are complete overkill for my driving habits. This is the second set of Achilles tires that I have owned. The first pair were the original ATR Sport. I bought them at the time because they were an inexpensive option, and money was tight. Turned out to be some of the best tires I've ever had. Much better than the OEM Dunlop tires that came on my 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring. I got 45k miles out of them. When I needed to replace them, I went with a set of Falken tires from a local tire store. I expected them to be an upgrade from Achilles. However, the sidewalls were very soft, and they had horrible wet traction, so I ordered a new set of Achilles ATR Sport 2 and sold the Falken on craigslist. So much happier. They ride great, noise is low, they stick to the pavement in wet and dry conditions, and they have a good stiff sidewall, so I don't feel like I'm floating when I make a long sweeping corner at highway speed.

Cheap but decent daily tires
Use these tires for my daily wheels, not sure how many miles on them now (probably over 5k) but they hold up to daily commuting well. Not alot of grip in the rain 5/10 , 7/10 dry grip, moderate at handling spirited driving. All in all good tire for someone looking to put some tires on and ride for cheap.

I run these on a BMW 5 series. These are not a comfortable luxury tire, so if that's what you are looking for keep moving. These tires are pretty stiff and offer a harsh ride. They look really good after one track day on this heavy car. Great initial grip even when they are cold. When they do break loose there is fair warning and a controllable slide. They are decent in the rain. Better than most performance tires I've tried. I would say wet performance falls between the Dunlop Direzza z2 and the hankook Ventus RS3 (Rs3 being worse) They do flat spot after sitting overnight. I notice it for the first mile or so of my drive each morning. I think these tires are a great fit between a track oriented 200TW tire and a touring tire. The insanely low price (Especially for 255/35/18!) makes these tires a no brainer for me.

Great tires for the price. Drive pretty aggressively on the street with a rear wheel drive sports car and the dry traction is really good. Handle rain well if you are driving normal, but if you have any decent amount of power they dont hook well in the wet if your trying to drive spirited. For the money I would buy again just dont plan to be out in the wett slot with them.

Tires arent bad for the price. If you want cheap tires that look good these are them. If you wamt cheap tires that handle great, these are not them. But no cheap tire does. Dry traction is pretty good, but no warning to when they are going to break loose. Wet traction is not great, but not dangerous if you are going a safe speed to begin with. Overall not bad for the price.

For a value tire, these are great. Only reason for four stars instead of five is that they are rated all weather and in my opinion, these tires are strictly for summer and fuel efficiency only. Winter traction is not great at all. The original ATR Sport had better winter traction that than the redesigned Sport 2. Still, for the value, or if you live in the warmer climates, these are GOOD tires.

For the price, these tires are amazing. This was a very goofy tire size (21" wheel) and I didn't have a lot of options. Goodyear & Michelin tires were STUPID expensive $400++ a tire!!) and I was very happy to find these. I was worried they'd be junk but under $500 for a full set vs. $1800 for a full set made it worth the gamble. As it would turn out, it was well worth it. I live in the PNW where there is ALWAYS standing water in the roadways. These tires track water amazingly. Very impressed with dry & wet surface performance. They seem to be wearing at a pretty reasonable rate as well. One negative, is snow traction though. I do not recommend these tires for anyone living in a winter state WITHOUT AWD. I put these on an Audi, so thanks to Quattro, I would rank the tires as 'sufficient'. And, I spent 38 years in Colorado so I know about winter driving and tire quality. Without AWD these tires may have been a challenge when we got 20" of snow recently. Overall, GREAT tire!

Tires arrived on June 11th as indicated (great service and quick delivery time) and had them mounted on June 13th on my 2016 Ford Fusion 2.0 SE. Looks very good (sportier) on car and has an aggressive tread. Wasn't 100% certain if I would experience the same performance as other indicated in their reviews, but I can testify that as great as they look so too do they perform. To date total mileage on the tires= 9531. Surprisingly quieter than was expecting for the price. Lower road noise then some other costlier tires had used previously. Tight gripping in high speed cornering and clean braking. Had chance to test out 2 times in tropical rain fall at speeds over 60 mph. And boy did they outperform my expectation for that. Cruised along in the high-speed lane without fear of hydroplaning. Only negative comment that I can think of, is that sometimes from a stop position, if too aggressive on acceleration would experience some tire slippage. But not a lot that would cause full pressure release off the accelerator. As we enter into the fall weather conditions in Norther NJ, I will get to test them further as they age. Would definitely buy another set for the price since they performed so far without failure.

I was SHOCKED at how expensive 21" tires were in general! Almost full regret in buying this car and thought I'd need to buy new wheels to avoid expensive tires. Then, I found these on Tires-Easy. I was reluctant, as they were far cheaper than the options I had found elsewhere. Now, we haven't had them long enough to know their longevity, but after 4 months of use I can say I am thoroughly impressed! These are on a S-Line Audi Q7. They grip great, look aggressive, have pretty decent road noise (which is hard to do on 35 profile tires) and most impressively; have phenomenal rain traction. We live in Western Washington where there is standing water from October-April. We've had this car on 3 regional road trips where standing water was on the highways everywhere and instinctively, found some anxiety when you feel the car hit large puddles at 65 mph but the tires just cut right through. Eased the anxiety quickly and turned it into confidence. I am very impressed with wet traction. We do not corner this car very hard as it's the family sled, so I am not sure about dry traction and with the Quattro AQD, it's tough loose dry traction with the stock 4.2 v8 anyhow. Overall, for the price- I am more than impressed. We will see how they hold up as I only have 3k miles on them right now. These vehicles are notorious for burning through tires fast so we'll see if we get over 20k off of them.

I've bought 2 sets of these. 1st was 225/40 R18 and the 2nd set are 245/45 R18 for my 2015 WRX. They are amazing for summer driving! I never had an issue in the winter with them, but I also didn't push my luck in the snow. I have a different set of wheels and tires for the winter, but these work absolutely great during the summer. I have never had a single problem with traction on wet or dry pavement and they hook up really well, especially with cornering!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a summer tire!

These are basic tires, and expectations in regards to wear are not high. There are only about 3000 miles on the set of tires......however, they seem to be wearing evenly. The ride is decent, sideway strength is adequate (they're on an older Mazda5, so the tires aren't taxed in terms of cornering and such). Will report with an update at the 20,000 mile mark.

Seems to be a great tire for the price! Replaced expensive Pirelli P Zero Nero on 2005 Ford Mustang GT. OK Tires, I expected more based on the Reviews.
I installed 2 of these in the front of an Audi S5 with Quattro. Immediately right after installed I noticed vibration on the steering wheel when going uphill at around 65 mph on a semi-rural highway. After 3 months of having these tires still the vibration occurs on this road. Before I had Michelin-Sport tires and originally Conti-Sport tires, and I never experienced that odd vibration. I also can tell the tires are more stiff than my previous tires and yield a bit less grip. Also they feel heavier. They are an option to have a decent sports tire for a cheap price, but they cannot compare in grip and performance to Michelin Sport tires.

I bought two of these tires to replace two General G-Max tires on my Infiniti G37. The General tires were decent but wearing down, and they were very loud. The most common complaint I have seen with the Achilles tire is road noise, but I was surprised after installation just how quiet they were! I previously had to listen to music to drown out my General tires noise, but the Achilles tires are dead silent. They grip well, seem to be wearing well so far, and are a true to size fit. I couldn't be more pleased with these tires! Highly recommend.

I have about 8,000 miles on these tires and there is still plenty of tread left. The ride is decent, the grip is good, and they are pretty quiet at highway speed. My only complaint is that the sidewalls are weak compared to other tires. When they’re new they feel a bit squishy and I’ve had 2 punctures in the sidewall, not sure if that’s because of the sidewall itself or bad luck on my part.

Superior tires at a great price
I replaced the tires on both of my Mercedes-Benz sport sedan and they greatly increased ride quality, grip and less noise. The tires that were replaced were much more expensive and better known high performance tires from Toyo and Continental.

Theses tires I recommend for any 225/40 r19 wheels. They last longer and resist bad weather conditions. 10/10 in my view. I was shipped 225 and 235 by accident. I had them switch in a gif. Customer service was fast and swift.

Perfect cheap tire for track, drift or street

Identical to the $500 Pirelli it replaced
Pros: Handle exactly like $500 Pirelli tires Very sticky rubber - hard to spin with 400hp Cons: Very short lifespan - about 15,000 - 20,000 miles Flat spots occur from leaving the car sit for a weekend Handles exactly the same as the pirelli, very soft, sticky rubber. Unfortunately, such a soft tire compound makes it extremely susceptible to flat spots from being left in one spot for any length of time, even just over the weekend. If you let it sit for a week while you're on vacation, they'll never ride the same again. Tires with such soft rubber also have an extremely limited lifespan. The pirellis were due at about 15,000 miles and I pushed it to 22k. These already show some signs of wear after only a few thousand miles so I'm sure lifespan will be similar. I'm not terribly happy with the cons that come along with such soft rubber but for the price, these are pretty good tires. I would rank my $500+ each pirellis 1 star. Although the price is the only difference, I can be much happier with a cheap tire that lasts less than 2 years.

I have used Achilles tires since they started the ATR line. ATR SPORT 2 are awesome for the price! I drift with them as my fronts, however I use them on my daily as well. If I could post a picture of my car, I would as that would explain this a lot faster. However, I have lowered my vehicle close to 6 inches. My wheels have respectably low effective offsets (rebuild coming) and I'm clambered. Not double digits. I'm -4 front and -7ish rear. I've had these tires for two years with no issues. Tire-easy is GREAT. Fast, easy, great customer service (been using them for over a decade). While I probably couldn't get a 3rd session out of these without flipping them, for the money, they can't be beat. Once I relip my wheels, I'll be coming back for wider tires. I'm pleased. Some cons, there's a bit of road noise. You can't hear it unless you roll the windows down and turn off the music. But, that could also be camber related. Dry traction is great. Wet traction is extremely acceptable. The car doesn't feel loose or squirrelly and that's impressive seeing as how I'm not using the full contract patch. At this price point, I honestly don't see a better summer tire. My guess is that if you're not stretching and your wheels are using the full contact patch, these would run 25k-40k REAL TIME miles, depending on how you drive. I'm mostly highway, under 80mph or cruising (40-45mph) with no Tom Foolery. At my extreme use, these will hit 20-25k before I take them off.

Best looking tires for a Miata
I've had mine for 19 years and these look the best. Handling? yes, very responsive. So responsive you should be careful until you get used to them. Of course the release agent needs a few miles to disappear. Maybe 50 will do it. This will be the tire I put back on mine and hopefully they will still be around then.
